FALL BACK TO MOVE AHEAD! We should have an incredible day on Sunday because of having an extra hour of rest. Set your clock back an hour Saturday night and set your alarm for Sunday morning to be on time for one of our three morning services. Our theme is "Uncommon Unity." We are unstoppable when we come together in agreement.
Saturday night is a wonderful opportunity to bring a family to our campus for the annual Family Fun Fair. It's going to be a beautiful Sacramento evening and an atmosphere of joy and blessing.
Another can't miss outreach opportunity is ahead with the Singing Christmas Tree. Invest in someone's life this year. Invite them to join you for a great evening of Christmas music and pageantry and include them in your pursuit of God’s grace.
Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

Cathy and I have been to Siberia and Peru to distribute Bible’s to thousands of children, youth, and parents who had never had a copy of God’s Word before our arrival. We were moved beyond words by the joy we saw on so many faces that were coming to know Jesus for the first time. The man who provided these opportunities for us will be in our services this Sunday. I am excited for you to meet him.
Rob Hoskins has overseen expansion of new methods for sharing the message of the Bible with children and youth. One such innovation is The GodMan children's animated film. Research shows that one in five people in the world cannot read, which prompted Rob to lead his team to produce a kid-friendly film that tells the life story of Jesus. Customized for 9 cultural worldviews and translated into more than 70 languages, The GodMan has been viewed by more than 10 million children and youth in hosted showings and by hundreds of millions more who have had the opportunity to watch The GodMan on television. Our worldview will be expanded through what we will experience this week.
Please be praying about making a pledge to world missions for the next six months. We have partnerships with over 300 missionaries around the world and your monthly gift to missions will help us to expand these partnerships even further. There is no greater blessing than participating in reaching people with the message of God’s eternal love!
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Jesus Loves You This I Know. This is the title of a book our outreach pastor, Jason Harper, has co-authored. The book is attracting significant attention and has climbed into the top 100 of all books sold this past week. Join us Sunday as Jason addresses the chapter from the book concerning Jesus’ love for the outcast. It would be great if you would consider inviting a friend to join you for this life transforming teaching.
Also, I would like to encourage you to prayerfully consider participating in our missions outreach. Every six months, we determine what we can give on a monthly basis to reach the world with the message of God's love. Sunday, October 25, is our next commitment day for this purpose. We spend a lot of money on consuming things for our own pleasure. When we give something away in order to touch someone else for eternity, we attract God’s favor and blessing. Please consider making a commitment to give a specific amount each month to reach our world.
John 15:15-17 "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other."

I am LOVING being a grandparent!! This has been another reminder of the miracle of life that God has provided. Laine and Judah are doing great (so is Joe) and we are excited with every opportunity to see them.
Grandpa had a lot of things to say last Sunday so if you were not able to be here you can still catch up on everything at this link to our website: http://www.ccconline.cc/video_detail.html?id=474
"Uncommon Courage" is our theme this week. I am believing that we will all be encouraged as we study God’s Word together and worship Him. Consider inviting a friend to join you at the service you attend.
We are off to a great start with "Uprising," this season’s small group series. I hope you have been able to participate with a group near you.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
