Great things are on the calendar for this weekend! If you are looking for some fun entertainment, check out the Seussical the Musical presentation by our High School Performing Arts Department on Friday or Saturday. You will enjoy it and gain a greater appreciation for the quality of our students.
Sunday, Cathy will continue our teaching in the Psalms with a look at Psalm 91. We have a couple special features planned for Mother's Day and we are expecting a tangible experience of God's presence.
A word to my Mom . . . Thanks for a lifetime of love and compassion. Thanks for your constant words of encouragement and affirmation. Thanks for always believing in me and holding me up before God in your prayers. Thanks for your example of what it looks like to totally love God. Thanks for your gentleness and strength. You are the picture perfect Mom! I love you!!
A week from Sunday begins a two-week period where we are encouraging you to commit 20 to 25 minutes of your time to give us feedback in an on-line survey. The purpose of this survey is to inform us of how we can serve you better. We want to know what is helping you grow spiritually, and what is getting in the way. Please take a few minutes between May 17 and May 31 to help us help you. Next week I will provide a link for you to use to access the survey.
Psalm 91:1-2 "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
