RACE FOR A MISSION
Randy Cole, Mike Mellott, Doug Reid, and Chris Thomas are nearing their goal of riding their bicycles from coast to coast! Continue to pray for their safety and strength as they near the finish line. They should be arriving in Annapolis, Maryland, early Saturday morning. They will have covered 3,000 miles in 6½ days of continuous riding. You might want to consider donating to the cause of providing clean water, food, and education for those in need. You can donate through the R4M website at www.raceforamission.com. It would be a great encouragement to them as they complete this amazing ride.
REVELATION
We complete our study of Revelation on Sunday as we study the final two chapters. I am looking forward to a wonderful time of worship and encouragement as we look into what God has planned for our future. It is truly awesome and beyond inspiring!
JULY 3
We are inviting all military and law enforcement to consider coming in uniform for this Independence Day celebration. We will honor all public servants who defend and protect us at home and abroad.
Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all hard – he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Father's Day

I am grateful for my dad who has been such a source of strength and support to me all my life. He is the most positive person I know. Every day is a good day. He is one of the most talented persons I know. He can command a room with oratory, play the trumpet like a pro, administrate organizations with excellence, keep his desk clean at all times, remember everyone on the planet’s name, play multiple sports well, and inspire others to be their best. Thanks dad for being who you are!!
REVELATION STUDY
We will continue the Revelation study on Father’s Day with a look at Chapter 20. God is the perfect Father and we will see how He has everything under control. We are going to have a wonderful time in worship and the study of God’s Word.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
We are encouraging veterans, current military, and peace officers to come in uniform (if it still fits of course) on Sunday, July 3. We are blessed to live in America and we will honor God for His blessings and honor our service men and women for their sacrifice.
COMING IN JULY
Our Capital . . . Our Home. I am looking forward to sharing the continuation of vision for our CCC family and focus on some of the projects we have before us at this time. It is going to be an exciting month of growth.
Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Judgment or Mercy?

JUDGMENT OR MERCY?
Our study in the book of Revelation brings us to events that are yet to come. Many of these events are filled with trouble and the impact that evil has on our world. We are sometimes drawn to the feeling of vindication because of God’s judgment of evil. However, there is another way to look at these judgments. A careful examination leads us to see the mercy of God at work in the midst of turmoil and conquest. I am looking forward to what we will learn as we study this important book together.
SIMPLY WORSHIP
Sunday evening Freeway Fifty will lead us into God’s presence in a wonderful celebration of worship. These are treasured times of communion and refreshing.
COMING IN JULY
“Our Capital . . . Our Home.” We will celebrate our history and renew our vision for the days ahead. I am excited to reveal fresh ideas and plans to assist each of us in growing our relationship with Jesus. July will be a strategic month to prepare us for a significant increase in our spiritual experience this fall.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

THIS SUNDAY

We are living in unprecedented times and it is imperative that we grow in intimacy with Jesus. The Revelation is all about the love of Jesus and the difference He makes in our present and future. It's going to be a great day!
I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21: 2-4 NIV
