Cathy and I are in Washington D.C. to attend this year’s National Prayer Breakfast. It is our first experience with this event and we are thankful for the opportunity. We are here as guests of Fuller Seminary which has arranged several opportunities to interact with those involved in the political process. We will have sessions with the Ethics and Public Policy Center and the Center for American Progress. There is much to learn as we pursue our mission and destiny.
Since we are on the East Coast, we will be spending the weekend with Nate and Lisa in New York. In my absence, Doug will be speaking Sunday on the mission of our church and how we can continue to grow in our impact in the world. It will be a great day for sure!
Here is another date to look forward to: February 20 the Katinas will be our musical guests in the morning services and then they will team up with Freeway Fifty for Simply Worship that evening. Can’t wait!
John 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.
