PARABLES OF JESUS
Perhaps the most widely circulated story Jesus told is the parable of the lost son . . . better known as the prodigal son. It is more about the character of the father than that of the son. This Sunday we will study this parable and grow in our appreciation of the compassion we receive from our heavenly Father.
CIM ROAD CLOSURES ON SUNDAY
The California International Marathon is run this Sunday and requires the closure of roads along the race path. If you live north of the Sacramento River, you will want to check the road closures to be sure you can make it to church on time. 6:13 PRAYER MEETING
We will continue the Wednesday evening prayer meeting through December with the exception of the final week, December 28. Join us if you can for this wonderful time in God’s presence.
SINGING CHRISTMAS TREE
What an amazing tradition we have of bringing the Christmas message to our community through the medium of creative arts. No better opportunity than this one to bring a friend to church.
Luke 15:23-24 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate.
